Footility-AI: what it is, and why.
A modular, made-in-Italy business system where the iteration is the pricing unit and AI is a multiplier: not a mysterious add-on, not a hidden cost.
What it is
Footility-AI is how I build software for small and mid-sized businesses: independent modules (bookings, CRM, invoicing, e-commerce, client area, automation) that fit together like bricks on your domain.
AI comes in where it genuinely helps — summaries, classification, drafting, semantic search — on top of the data the system already produces. No decorative chatbots.
Why
Typical business software sells annual licences for modules you often never use, and packages AI as an opaque premium tier. The result: you pay more and you don't know what for.
Footility-AI flips the equation: you see what each iteration does, you decide whether it is worth it, and AI is leverage — not a constraint.
The iteration is the pricing unit
One block of work = one clear price.
I don't sell hours and I don't sell "generic projects". I sell iterations: measurable cycles of work that produce a visible increment (a new module, an integration, a fix, an AI automation in production).
- Every iteration has scope, output and price agreed up front.
- You see what goes into production, commit by commit, task by task.
- No opaque retainers: if an iteration isn't needed, you don't do it.
AI is a multiplier
On top of your data, not instead of it.
AI in Footility is not a magic module: it is leverage that speeds up the iteration and amplifies the modules you already have. The "calendar" module costs the same; with AI on top it summarises, classifies and drafts replies — multiplying what it already does.
